Erin Winseman is a writer and editor based in Houston, Texas. She writes book reviews, essays on literature and culture, and fiction, with work appearing in The Rumpus, Litro Magazine, and elsewhere. Her first published short story, “Derek,” was a semi-finalist for American Short Fiction’s 2020 American Short(er) Fiction Prize. She offers several freelance writing services and has 7+ years of experience in marketing, publishing, and communications.
She has an M.A. in Journalism (Cultural Reporting & Criticism) from New York University and a B.A. in English & American Literatures from Middlebury College, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa with Honors. She is currently at work on a novel about the shape of grief throughout a life.
